Hyundai Equus Sketchings Revealed!

The long rumored bigger, more luxurious flagship sedan from Hyundai dubbed Equus/Centennial had broken cover in sketchings today.

The first impressions? Outrageous would be the correct word we guessed. With the success of the Hyundai Genesis, developing their own 6 speed transmission in house, it seems Hyundai is not slowing down with its determination. (Taking over Ford on the sales charts?) Taking the formula of Genesis and multiplying everything by 1.5 times seems to be the secret remedy here.

With proportions larger than that of the BMW 7 Series, but undercutting its price to be around that of cheaper than a 5, its anyone's guess how impossible it is for them not to succeed on this take. Not only that, Hyundai also plans to include a flagship model with a 5.0 ltr V8 engine with cylinder deactivation technology keeping fuel consumption in a variable manner.

As for the sleek design, who wouldn't want one? Taking the sleek curves of the Genesis Coupe, the Equus definitely looks the part. Well, is Hyundai ready to take on German and Lexus' finest? With the Genesis, we believe they could easily achieve that.
