Hyundai Velostar to go into production!
This is giving me goose bumps. I love the Kia Soul, and have vouch it is all that will change Kia's perception from a half witted copycat manufacturer to a truly competitive global player. Of course Hyundai needs to introduction in terms of their capability upon pulling off the Lexus beating Hyundai Genesis, however there's something fundamentally different between the Genesis and the Soul and this concept shown here - Veloster.
DESIGN.
The Hyundai Genesis can be regarded as something lacking originality, looking somewhat like a smaller Lexus LS, yes its a wonderful car, but only because of its good engineering and interior qualities - Something that could be solved with investment.
However when it comes to the biggest barrier in automotive manufacturing, its originality of design, and the sheer public acceptance of it, in short - Whether its good looking.
Have a good look at this 2007 Concept Hyundai Veloster and tell us Aston Martin One-77 weren't ripping off from the Koreans (Although I'm sure they designed it by themBritselves - I'm just trying to sound like Korean bashers)
Volkswagen Scirocco basher? Not entirely, but it sure is alot more attractive than the Scion tC Coupe, as the Hyundai Veloster Concept has been given the green light for production, and its headed for the US market.
Power should be something between 1.8 to 2.0, producing around 140hp and driven through the FWD. A sporty, low cost and maintenance hatch coupe that looks as good as an Aston Martin? Count me in.

This is a lovely looking car. Hope this changes peoples perceptions and gives the Japs a run for their money!
The back is a lil too futuristic for me. Other than that, it's looking good!
The Genesis looks stunning! Personally, it can rival some Ferraris in the looks department.
