Hyundai Equus leaks onto the internet to terrorize S Class,7-Series, LS and A8

The long rumored, teased and tease again and again Hyundai Equus flagship sedan, of which following the Genesis's success (of having beaten the class leader Lexus GS) had found itself onto the internet following what seems like images of an exclusive (Hyundai Big Shots only) preview in Korea and brochure images. Yes I know Korean bashers would of course again jump onto conclusions to again shout it looks like a Lexus LS, well come on, if it is going to look like something else, it looks more like a Genesis than anything, except the fact that it also had more flamboyant styling than the briefcase-like Lexus LS. What with the side bodyline flanking upwards with an elegant curve meeting up with the rear lamps, the hood ornament, Audi esque LED daytime runinngs etc.

Stepping into this territory, I can't help but give one or two worthwhile thoughts - Yes, Hyundai of course can engineer out a comfortable, spacious, teutonic build quality, quiet and supremely insulated sedan that perhaps could handle as well; however, this is the territory where all these are defaults, or so to speak expected stuffs. Luxury automakers splurge their flagships like a technological tour de force, with Mercedes's S Class sporting latest technologies of night vision, adaptive cruise control, and hydropneumatic suspensions. Lexus LS' 8 Speed transmission, Audi's aluminium space frame and BMW's night vision that can warn between a human and a chimpanzee.

What specific technologies can Hyundai throw into the Equus to gain itself a reputable foot hold in this segment?

The Equus is expected to be equipped with the same 4.6 ltr V8 engine from the Genesis, and a range topper of a bored 5.0 ltr V8 of the same engine.
