BMW M Division = Marketing or Money Making Division ?

BMW M GmBh, the power house behind the propeller badge's tarmac shattering super sedans had 'hinted' on future directions and we reckon this is again testament of Marketing Department overpowering the Engineering department.

First off, CEO of BMW M GmBh Ludwig Willisch mentioned during an interview with Auto-Motor-und-Sport Magazine that BMW will not be offering the M3 Wagon, which is already very bad news for those wishing to carry a washing machine whilst over taking a F360 Modena; then the really bad news is: THERE WILL BE NO E92 M3 CSL.

This is absolutely absurd as everyone, the whole world is waiting for the next CSL to hit the tracks, posting crazy Nurburgring track times and all but BMW decides it's not :

P-R-O-F-I-T-A-B-L-E

There will also be no M1, meaning BMW decides not to re-create the midship supercar to rival Audi's R8 and Mercedes' PLC and instead, opts to transform itself from the makers of the Ultimate Driving Machine, to worshippers of the Ultimate Money Making Machine; they will embark on the X5 M, and X6 M.

Our opinions? Don't forget your roots BMW.
