Ferrari will never build a 4 door sedan, says Montezemolo

With supercar manufacturers now lining up niche-ing their way into four door sedans, with Porsche's Panamera, Aston Martin's Rapide and the recently unveiled Lamborghini Estoque; many would've guessed not before long we'll all see Ferrari, the epitome of supercar makers plunging themselves into this new found segment. Well the truth could be far thou, as in an interview with motoring journalists, Fiat and Ferrari Chief Luca Di Montezemolo had expressed firmly that Ferrari had no intentions whatsoever in pursuing the direction of 4 door supersedans, but later on giving a provision that 'As long as he's still in charge.' Well it might prove to be a statement worth celebration from Ferrari's hardcore fans, that remains Ferrari should be a pure enthusiasts, go fast supercar maker. However, we're having a nudge that Ferrari itself had lost some of its passion and soul over the years with the new 612, the 599 and the new California. Photo above is a photoshop 4 door super Ferrari by Russian fan Krasnov Igor. Hmm he might be quite dissappointed with this news thou. What are your thoughts?

Of course Ferrari won't ... they've got the Maserati brand and the Quattroporte to satisfy the need for so-called four-door coupes. For a budget price version I think the upcoming Peugeot 608 will have four-door coupe looks.

but its very different .. to have a luxury sedan that had sporty intentions, and a supercar that actually seats four comfortably without the embarrassing Paris Hilton split (not embarrassing for her thou) when you alight. And not even a single manufacturer turn a look at Mazda RX-8's clever suicide doors.
