It's never too difficult to imagine how an RS4 would look like, honeycomb grills instead of S4's horizontal and vertical chrome slabs, the same aluminium door mirror housing, flared wheel arches and dual oval rear exhaust tips that house four exhaust pipes, job's done.
However, with the new RS6's square, flat flared arches, this might suggest new possibilities for the RS4. One thing's certain thou, that the glorious 4.2ltr V8 which debuted in the B7 RS4, finding its way into the R8 will most likely be absent from the new B8 RS4. As S and RS range had always feature same engines, with the latter tuned to produce around 100 odd more horsepowers, we're somehow doubtful on whether the current 3.0ltr V6 Supercharged generating 333hp can be further tuned to produce around 450hp, which should be a healthy gain from the previous generation's 420hp.
