2010 Jaguar XFR on the PROWL early!

For M5 owners this is one rear view you'd want to get familiar with in due time. Jaguar, the cat that stayed rather 'domestic' for the last couple of years is now back, and they're going back to where they belong - WILD.

The new Jaguar XFR, the contender that will heightened the respect already garnered by the excellent Jaguar XF, is to reclaim the lost turf, by its four claws powered by a Supercharged 5.0ltr V10 engine pumping out a massive 510hp, officially making it the most powerful Jaguar ever, bar the XJ220.

Of course, being the matriarch of the pack, of course it comes with more visual aggression, merely by the looks of it is enough to shaken some legs (or wheels). There's a very prominent 'power bulge' running along the hood, streaming towards the center grill that houses the wild cat's logo. Along the lines, are two hood vents both allowing better cooling of the engine bay and of course, to breath out some imaginary steams of furor.

The front bumper features a complete makeover, a three piece grill makes up the lower air intakes. Flanking both ends, are two huge intakes with chrome linings of very rare metal substance that would ionize the air sucked into engine bay that helps with combustion. (Ok the latter's a joke, aesthetics rule here)

Moving to the back, things were much more subtle in Jaguar's approach. A small duck tail spoiler sits atop the boot giving extra downforce stabilizing the car under braking, there's also an underbody diffuser housing quad tailpipes signifying this angry cat's intentions, of course a must-have little 'R' emblem helps justify the higher price. (and of course performance)

All this extra bits of performance laden mods of course calls for better stopping power, and larger cross-drilled disc brakes housed in 20" Nevis aluminum alloy wheels would do the job fairly well.

One thing we really liked about the Jaguar XFR, is the interior. Contrary to many when going along the lines of super sedans, the interior of this Jaguar XFR weren't covered by puke from drunken Mr Carbon Fiber Alcantara. Instead, swathes of fine leather, real wood and aluminum panels retains what Jaguar is all about. Ultimate blend of smooth performance and luxury; the designers were very clear with what they have in mind when deciding to go for the XFR, they're not building a track machine, but an Autobahn Porsche harasser at best.

Color choices offered for the XFR includes Botanical Green, Indigo, Kyanite Blue, Liquid Silver, Lunar Grey, Porcelain and Salsa; we don't have much qualms on the colors offered, as affluent buyers have all sorts of incomprehensible tastes. Our only gripes, are those 20" claws of this cat, as they look rather boring and uninspired, far from the standard wheels that comes with the XF. And those etched 'SUPERCHARGED' wordings on the wheels is a bit overkill for us, swap that with 'VERY POWERFUL' and you'd get what we meant.

We'll come back with more info once its officially unveiled. Stay tuned.
