This is another sad news, for years, Land Rover had succeeded the Camel Trophy in creating the most harsh, exciting expedition challenge dubbed the G4 Challenge, where participants race across continents spanning thousands of kilometers and months, sometimes years, thrashing their (rather expensive) Land Rovers through mountains, rivers, ravines, volcanoes (ok i made that up, but you get the point) where mere Lexus RX owners could only dream of. Now with money dried up, they've decided to go with 'other means of communication' to their core customers (3 full page newspaper ads?) where they divest their (limited?) funding focusing more on product launches.
