The much rumored Audi R8 V10 will debut at the Detroit Motor Show! Bumping displacement from a 4.2ltr V8 420hp, Audi engineers added two cylinders ending up with a 5.2ltr V10, and power is now up 100hp to 520hp! Of course the brakes will be upgraded and minor adjustments is well expected, the quad pipes from the R8 V8 will be replaced by more subtle, larger oval pipes ala RS4, the frontal horizontal slabs are lesser, and of course, the bulged side air intakes that feeds air into the 5.2ltr V10 engine from the Gallardo; as you can see from 'spied' (can we even use that term for something obviously wanting attention) from Quattro GmBh's HQ in Germany, Audi's tuning arm. To tell you the truth, I'm not very much interested in this V10 R8. I want to see the diesel V12 TDi R8.
