Porsche Panamera Official Reveal

It's now a standard operating procedure I guessed, prepare your products, then get someone to leak them, then stir up the community, the public, and then release the official photos and details.

What we see here, is the Panamera S, the Panamera 4S, and of course the Panamera Turbo. The brown (gosh, when's the last time this color came up in words or alphabets on a car) Panamera S, should be the base model, and then the Panamera 4S, with more sporting credentials with big brake calipers visible through its multi spoke rims. As for the Turbo, it sports an entirely different bumper, and refuses to be parked alongside its two rather 'slower' siblings.

There shouldn't be of much difference for the 4S and S, but its rather shocking to see Porsche's ambition of depicting the Panamera S as a family/luggage hauler. Where the Porsche we knew were meant for playboys going nightclubs and shagging everywhere, this suggests fishing trips, picnics for grown up Porsche boy.

Of course we would like to keep the Panamera S and 4S short, as there's their bigger brother, the Panamera Turbo here where we'd reckon should be given the most attention. It's a Porsche for christ sake, we couldn't care whether it has 5 or 8 cupholders or whether there's enough shoulder room. First of all, there's something distinctly different for the Turbo and other lesser two, and its a very cool thing, especially if you saw the action.

The rear spoilers, is snugly tugged behind the rear screen, because of limitations to the width of the spoiler caused by the boot that could actually open and swallow a couple of golf bags, the German excellence in engineering was again summoned upon. The rear spoiler, not only lifts out, it extends as well so that it catches more air (and looks better of course). And this cool thing, is only available if you're taking the Turbo.

As for everything else, its rather standard measure, all in Porsche design languages. You might wanna check out our previous reports on the spied interior. Which is rather nice I might say.
