Following our previous reports on Porsche alleging Nissan 'cheated' while creating the record breaking 7 minutes 29 second run on Nurburgring, Nissan had responded:"It was done in absolutely standard tyres which are available to customers as optional upgrades, and the lap time done by Tochio Suzuki was done using those optional Dunlop tyres." Well, an 'upgrade' from Bridgestone tyres to Dunlop could've created a lap time difference of 25 seconds?
