New Mercedes C-Class Coupe - A move in completely revamping coupe range

This is an initial drawing of how roughly, the new Mercedes C-Class Coupe will look like. Now of course there's the CLK and CLC to confuse you, let us clear up some confusion that Mercedes themselves find confusing as well.

There use to be the Mercedes use to go by the moniker of 280SE, or 300SL, or 300CE, of which the 280SE is actually S-Class' predecessor, 300SL is what we have now as the SL, and CE as a real E-Class coupe, followed by the not so 'real' CLK. Then to challenge the increasingly popular 3-Series from rival Munich, Stuttgart decides to venture into the 180E, which is the predecessor of our modern C-Class.

So now it goes like this:

C-Class
E-Class
CLK (E-Class coupe)
S-Class
CL (S-Class coupe)

SLK (Roadster)
SL (Sports Car)

However, the CLK is not a true E-Class coupe, as it's actually based on a C-Class, only that it came with E-Class looks, the CL was actually based on the S-Class, not the C-Class many have thought. Then there's the CLC, which looked like a 3 door hatch of the current new C-Class, but is actually the OLD C-Class with new makeups.

Now, with the debut of a true C-Class coupe, a real C-Class coupe based on the C-Class that looks like the C-Class and not the OLD new CLC. Confuse?

So that means we'll be expecting:

C-Class Coupe
E-Class Coupe
S-Class Coupe

All using new names and model series to ease the confusion caused by desperate marketers. Thank god.
