2008 Paris Motor Show: Saab 9X Air Concept
Saab unveiled the 9X Air Concept which is very likely to be taken into production, sporting a 1.4 ltr turbocharged E85 Flex Fuel engine that could take conventional petrol and bio ethanol renewable fuel, coupled with a 6 sped dual clutch gearbox which would be good for a sub 8 second 0-100km/h acceleration and mileage that of 17.3 kilometers per liter of fuel. This solidifies the rumor which GM previously says they'll be downsizing Saab, with smaller and lighter chassis and smaller and more fuel efficient engines, which is always a good sign, and suits Saab's origins of Sweden where environmentalism is greatly worshipped.
