Switzerland's Tree Huggers threatening to ban all Supercars and SUVs

Idiots like this are common enemies to us all petrolheads.

Having not a single idea on how important it is for developments and contributions of supercars towards mankind, they've gone all the more excessive in their empty minded 'fight' for Earth's sustainability, they're threatening the very existence of these epitome of human achievements.

Having a unique legislation, individuals in Switzerland could propose a change in law, get enough signatures from the country's citizen, and then immediately the law will pass on and come into effect.

Switzerland's Swiss Green Party is on a move to ban all vehicles in excess of 2.2 tons or those with emission levels of 250g/km CO2, Diesel powered cars without particulate filters and cars with frontal fascia deemed dangerous towards pedestrians and most devastating of all, a universal speed restriction of 100km/h.

Such a move would effectively wipe out all supercars and most SUVs except the likes of Porsche Boxster and Cayman. Italian thoroughbreds, German power houses, American supercars will all be affected by the law. Remaining only very efficient V6 performance cars and 4 cylinders.

Such an act of outright single mindedness is a complete disregard to the real issues everyone's facing, for all, Switzerland's cows alone would every year fart more CO2 than the country's supercars and SUVs combined; and even if such a law was enacted, any rich guy in the country can still spend on outlandish yachts and cruisers with engines that generate 1000hp - 5000hp; partying in the nation's vast lakes.

These people are clearly not tackling the real issue, in fact they merely creating agendas that easily generate general public consensus.

A luxury motorbarge with a 70 year old men roaming around lake Geneva for an afternoon fishing session is regarded as fishing - Which is entirely environmentally friendly whereas another 50 year old driving his Porsche 911 to the supermarkets for grocery shopping regarded as killing mother earth. Yeah right.
