Pininfarina names new CEO, carries on with restructuring plan

Pininfarina today announced Paolo Pininfarina as the CEO, taking over the position following Andrea Pninfarina's untimely death. The late former CEO was previously overseeing a substanfial reformation of the Carrozeria, which had a long legacy of building custom coach built vehicles and responsible for many of Ferrari's most classic, most commercially successful supercars.

Pininfarina, still one of the largest automotive design firms in the world have had a long struggle to keep itself afloat, with notably the most recent effort of giving up family majority shares to secure an influx of liquidity for it's turnaround plan.
