Mclaren's upcoming supercar delayed - REDESIGN IN PROGRESS

The much rumored, rendered, awaited successor to the Mclaren F1, thou confirmed in the midst of development, had kept fans longing for a sneak peak, with possible renders floating up the web every once in a while, with the lates (far left) being very much a disappointment, encouraging news was reported by Autocar that upon the appointment of Frank Stephenson, the car designer with portfolios that include the BMW X5, the Mini and upon moving on to Fiat Group, he penned the Ferrari F430 and Maserati MC12.

Now as Head of Design of Mclaren, he will work his magic on the upcoming Mclaren successor (Thank god), however, due to the canning of whatsoever work that was done previously, the entire project would be pushed further by 1 year. (Not so thank god afterall).

Is Gordon Murray involved? He might be too busy with his T25 project I guess.
