Lotus Eagle Unveiled!

Lotus had revealed the first image of it's upcoming 2+2 seater Lotus Eagle, the car will debut at the upcoming London Motor Show.

Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 Turbo charged Toyota engine, the Eagle will produce 280hp (and thankfully, reliable enough). The rear seats will have isofix child seats fastener. The rear seats can seat children and 2 MINI-ME, and owners could opt for the rear seats to be converted to storage compartments.

With a price tag of $45,000 USD, owners not only could enjoy Elise/Exige's exhilarating performance, but get amenities such as cup holders, air conditioning, sat nav, bluetooth connection and iPOD connectors to a Alpine stereo sound system.

2,000 will be produced annually and we hope this could be Lotus' break into mainstream sportscar market - Which from the first look of the car, it screams boring and we're not really sure with such styling, would it fit the tastes of those non-track going owners, hairdressers and middle age mens they're targeting this round.
