Jaguar has confirmed to be using the 2.7 liter turbodiesel from the XF to offer another engine option for the XK, it's believed it'll be fundamentally same except bored to 3.0 liter displacement to provide more torque and hp, yet still returning 30 miles to the gallon (12 kilometers on a liter).
