BMW UK to offer Electric powered MINI possibly in 2010

BMW UK had announced possibly in 2009 if not 2010, they will be able to offer MINI's running entirely on electricity. They would still be built in Oxford UK, but then no engines nor transmissions will be fitted before they reach Germany. In our opinion, electric motors is always the better way to go around.

Check out the PML MINI that runs on electricity, fitted with a combustion engine to charge the batteries in times needed, and are capable of generating 640hp!
