Audi (also) announce their excellent First Half results of 2008

Audi closed in at 516,000 vehicles for first half of 2008 (Hmm that's a rather rounded figure), with a measly 1.4% growth over 2007.

Audi expects for the first time ever in history, to breach the 1,000,000 threshold; with the introduction of the facelifted A3 and A6, the whole new Q5 Compact SUV that'll see themselves in showrooms this year.

Earlier on, there has been countless reports on Audi's invasive expansion into every niche market imaginable (thank that to Mercedes Benz), which will see the 4 rings on cars ranging from A1 (MINI rival), A3 Offroad Cabrio (An answer to a question no one asked), A7 (CLS, 8 Series rival) and possibly Q3.

All in all, Wheels Weekly finds that there won't be enough alpha numerics of 0 - 9 for them.
