Alfa Romeo MiTo

What you're looking at here could possibly be the first of many new generations of Alfa Romeo to come.

Since the inception of the 8C Competizione, where Alfa Romeo created this car as a HALO model for their re-entry into the biggest automotive market in the world - North American Market. We've heard many talks about Alfa Romeo wanting to re-establish itself to it's former glory days.

We all remembered the very famous quote that Sir Henry Ford used to take off his hat everytime an Alfa Romeo passed by.

Over the years, unlike Citroen, Saab, Peugeot; Alfa Romeo hasn't bent down, succumbing itself to the harshness of the market, they stayed with their inception creating out of the world designs like the 145, 146, 155, 156, 147, Zagato; in fact it's always a love it or hate it scenario.

We wouldn't continue reporting on how beautiful this car is or how it's design was based on the 8C Competizione;

What we're thinking now is, if this is to go against the Mini, with which itself was a small car with premium pricing. Now we know the 147 will get a replacement model soon the 149, and this MiTo is not the 149. Now, if the 149 is a higher segment than the MiTo, and the MiTo is with premium pricing, what should the 149 cost? Should it be pricier than an Audi A3? Would it have better performance than a Golf? Or even reliability?

Worried we are, but worried because we have high hopes and alot of love for this Italian marque.

Enjoy the video.
