Lexus down, Infiniti to go - Hyundai Genesis on the march towards reversal of status quo

This is a revelation for Hyundai, after having beaten the Lexus GS (narrowly), the new Genesis Coupe, which Hyundai promised to be one hell of a fun ride RWD Coupe, was pitched against its aimed target, the Infiniti G37 - Which was widely regarded as one of the best performance coupe. InsideLine brought them both together, with the 3.8ltr V6 Genesis against the 3.7ltr Infiniti. The Infiniti comes with better straight line performance, slalom tests and so on, but the Hyundai beats it with solid track performance, and costs cheaper by one third of the Infiniti's asking price, yet delivering solid overall performance and a quality build interior. Yes, Hyundai came out of this test marginally, but never had one ever thought Hyundai - would beat an Infiniti in performance cars, and Lexus in luxury cars. Yet proudly, un-ashame of their origins.
