Official: Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA is hotter than any hot hatch!

Is this sexy or what? Golf GTi with 210hp? John Cooper Works with 211hp? Bah! The Alfa Mito GTA comes blasting by with 240hp from a (BEHOLD) Turbocharged (Think Subaru), Variable Valve Timing (Think Honda) and Direct Injection (Think Audi), all traits points to an engine that's not only highly efficient, but one that sounds great with cam profile switching in high revs, and unlike Honda's screaming Type-R engines, it should have oozes of torque in low rpm range.

Alfa engineers had lowered the ride height, removed the steel roof, and in comes a carbon fiber roof (a la M3 E92), carbon fiber wing mirrors and tailgate spoiler, all of which points towards reducing weight and ticking more boxes in Go-Kart-like fun and performance. Underneath, as if compulsory nowadays, the Mito GTA comes with a huge rear underbody diffuser that sports two large tailpipes

Not only that, all four seats sports 4-point seatbelts, with the rear attached to a roll cage. (YES! Even a roll cage!) We know the Italians would go crazy when they wanted to get something done (of course only if they weren't lazy), as the interior claddings were even in matte black treatment, this stops sunlight from deflecting off the interior consoles and giving you a good mirror image on your windscreen during sunny days, which is never a good thing.

Another striking thing I read from their release, there's variable geometry input system dubbed the Alfa DNA, this would allow the driver to select different behavior of the car's dynamics, (think Audi Drive Select), which it alters the car's throttle response, gear change behavior, suspension and steering. I'm not sure if all these stuffs are necessary, as most drivers would likely leave them in a certain mode they preferred. The three stages are 'Dynamic', 'Normal' and 'All Weather' - Hmm... weird as everyone was expecting 'Sport' to be there.

In fact it would thrill me if there are options such as 'Passenger Will Pee', then 'Passenger will Vomit' and lastly 'You will pee before you Vomit' - That ought'ta make up for GTA's heritage, and more so, Italian's craziness.

Hell I want this car.
