Audi's new MMI II Fully Revealed !

Audi's MMI (Multi Media Interface) had always being a good benchmark against BMW's dreary iDrive, being regarded as the best of such integrated interface control, simplifying the console and being able to cram more tech stuffs into the dash without looking like Saab's fighter jet like cockpit (pun intended) with close to a million buttons to push.

The new MMI II, includes a 40GB hard drive, 10Gb for storing musics, pictures and videos, bluetooth, a 3D Sat Nav, FTA-TV reception, DVD ready and Nvidia Graphics Card for better video enhancement performance, in-car phone, syncronization of contacts from phone, USB port, and Bang & Olufsen sound systems.

This is as if cramming in a living room worth of electronics into your car's dashboard, we reckon the MMI really have to do a great job in simplifying all such controls. (Or they just dismantled an old laptop and fit all the parts into the car, with a GPS card stuffed in and hooked up to B&O speakers), wired to a mobile phone hidden beneath the gear lever.

All in all, we have high expectations for Audi's class leading MMI.
