This perhaps is why BMW came up with the 5-Series GT

You all hear manufacturers shouting how many hundreds of liters of volume the boot of their latest creations could fit.

Well, only if the 'opening' is wide enough I reckoned.

This is also a reason why more people should buy wagons instead of sedans. Up till now, I still see no point in having a sedan over a wagon.

Contrary to common believes, one must understand that side parking a wagon is actually much easier as there's not much else sticking out after the rear windscreen.

So is this why BMW came up with the 5-Series Gran Turismo? Hmm.... I remember clearly there's a 5-Series Touring (Wagon) available, which not only looks better, carries more load, but seats more passengers and doesn't look much like an idiot whilst being seen in one.
