Audi A5 Cabriolet LEAKED !

This is it! The Audi A5 Cabriolet was leaked onto the internet before its official launch in Geneva Motor Show. As one of the most beautiful cars around, Audi now adds a more sophisticated touch to its overall appeal by including a cabriolet in its lineup. Contrary to what many manufacturers are increasingly aftering, thankfully Audi remained its support for a canvas top cabriolet, giving more practicality in terms of cutting down weight, increasing boot space and of course aesthetics; as soft tops always exudes that classy feel where clunky, clumsy hardtop folding cabriolets will never be able to achieve.

There are inherent difficulties in creating hardtops that fold, as the very top portion of the roof would have to be shorter than the boot that holds it, the car would end up with a very weird, tight roofline (Merc SLK), and if you wanted to apply the same to a coupe, where a sleek, long, swooping roofline is essential, you'd have to cut it into various pieces, creating ugly cutlines to what was supposed to be sleek metal sheets (BMW E92 Coupe), so that the roof would fold in multiple pieces instead of two piece, and if it were multiple pieces, you'd be hard press to find anymore boot space available after you fold em down.

Coming back to the A5, the interior is exactly the same, unlike the previous A4 Cabriolet, where rounded air con outlets replace horizontal ones suggesting a more sporty, less edgy approach. The best part now, is of course rear passengers of A5 will no longer complain of a lack in headroom. Of course, structurally, the A5 Cabrio is stiffened, and engine range are believed to remain. Common, just look at this beautiful thing, would you even mind what's powering your 5km/h boulevard cruising speed?
