More often than not tuners would do their dirty hand on creating aftermarket versions of perfectly fine examples of automotive heaven with obscenely large wheels, or the likes of fugly double color coded Hamanns or abominations of un-describe-able pukeness. However this is one hell of a modification that we would really want to see more, getting down to the business, adding only stuffs that need be, and taking away stuffs that needn't be. PPI, the German tuner will be producing this Audi R8, which as if it has undergone the Scuderia treatment, or Quattro GmBh (Audi's tuning arm) for that matter, as the modified brakes, rims, frontal aerodynamics, splitter, spoiler, and most notable, a la Bugatti Veyron style rear double air scoops, and of course the supercharger, which brought the stock 420hp engine to a screaming 580hp, and lowered the weight drastically by 250kg, effectively putting the R8 at a shocking 1330kg kerb, capable of reaching the centennial km/h with just 3.7 seconds. Of course, it comes with a price, but with the R8's relatively affordable price, all these gobsmacking performance will hopefully still undercut its close cousin - The manic, Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
