Following the leaked images of the new Mazda 3 that we've reported earlier on, here goes the interior. Which we've said many times, Mazda and Honda creates the best interiors amongst their Japanese counterparts, not a question of capability, but rather a question of WANTability as giants such as Toyota had consistently created wonderful interiors (Lexus) and yet, should be getting their bread and butter models, they decided you need some hard plastics and ugly garnishes accompanying you for the rest of your life. Honda and Mazda on the other hand, had really sit down and gone to business creating wonderful interiors second only to the Germans and Italians. One thing worth noting, is the cup holders opening towards the left hand side driver instead of the right hand side, suggesting some cost saving measures nonetheless, its not as apparent an attempt as European cars with the signal stalk on the left instead of the right.
