Lexus badged Prius confirmed

It's been rumored for a while that Toyota might be considering an independent lineup for its Hybrid vehicles, of which following the success of the first and second generation Prius, had exceeded 1 million recently, in just a short span of 10 years considering it started off as a niche vehicle. Now plans that Toyota will be rebadgineering the Prius into Lexus lineup was confirmed by Toyota executives, stating that the upcoming Prius successor will have a snobbish brother soon to be sitted alongisde the Lexus IS in showrooms. First countries to get the Lexurius would most probably be USA, given the American's slow adoption of modern, high efficiency diesels and European's slow adoption of hybrids - As for time being, hybrids constantly loose out to diesel wonders, which predominantly makes up most car purchases in Europe. In fact, diesel cars costs more in Europe.
