This is the first official image of the Honda Insight Hybrid, Honda's global hybrid model that will be cheaper than any Hybrids on sale currently. Honda definitely has it's sights on Toyota Prius, which recently had just sold the 1 millionth Prius since its inception in 1998, where actually Honda is the first to offer a Hybrid in the market with it's Insight Coupe back in year 1997.
The Insight MK2, is slightly smaller than the Civic Hybrid, prices will start around $19,000 USD, an annual production of 200,000 a year with half of that slated for US consumption.
