Volkswagen Golf MK6 Pics Galore!

Volkswagen has released additional Hi-Res images of the new MK6 Golf. To be honest, like the MK4, this Golf is again by itself 'pretty' to look at, unlike the Golf MK5 which looked dead boring with a contrasting GTi that look downright sweet and sexy, the Golf MK6 with it's accentuated bodylines and strong, chiseled headlamps, understated styling of the rear lamps gives it a rather mature, un-embarrass character. This itself would give much needed enhancement to the sales of the standard Golf 1.6 FSi (Only GTi and 1.6 available in Malaysia), not that it needed any help, but from where I am situated, a rough 'eye guesstimation' on the streets for GTi vs standard 1.6 Golf is around that of 50:1 ratio. As much as the drastic changes were found in this MK6, this Golf doesn't ride on a completely new platform, very much like the Audi A4 B6 to B7, VW is using the same chassis which had undergone heavy revision, and whole new settings to the suspension, complete change of the interior and exterior fascia and new engines to go with. This doesn't mean its a bad thing, as the wonderful chassis of the MK5 still have alot of potential compared to its rivals; and we're not actually fans of 'complete new chassis developments' on certain models that need not to, it's just a waste of resources to be brutally honest. Seeing at how 'competitors' were still wondering what sort of formula could topple Golf's reign, we can safely say Volkswagen is again on a home run this round. Now, where's the GTi?
