UK car industry down 18.58%, Perodua UP by 2.63%

The global economic downfall seems to have spread across the Atlantic, following Americas sub-prime crisis, the rise of oil prices, loss of consumerism confidence, the UK car industry had shrunk by 18.58% vs prior year, amidst the retreating trend, Perodua had registered 2.63% more cars vs prior year, with the Kelisa, which was no longer available in Malaysia, being replaced by the Viva; registered 66% more new cars vs prior year (Eat that Jeremy Clarkson). Being the cheapest car in UK (available from £4499), and a frugal 3 cylinder 1 liter engine, it certainly makes a lot of sense when petrol price does a little tug of war trick with your baby's milk powder. Watch the video below where Clarkson destroys the Kelisa claiming its rubbish, and James May claims the Kelisa is the closest thing he's ever driven, to the original Mini.
