Toyota considering launching 'Prius' itself as a brand for all Hybrid vehicles

With green cars getting more so popular, Toyota's Prius exclusive market share could be further eaten up by the likes Honda's Insight Hybrid and plenty of hybrid vehicles coming into the market for the vastly growing market. Toyota had earlier on revealed within a a few year's time, every model in its lineup will be offered with a hybrid variant, and there's also plans now to introduce a smaller hybrid model just below the Prius to fend off the cheaper Honda Insight Hybrid.

Now plans are within Toyota's consideration to launch a sub-brand, like that of the Scion (to target teenagers) which would solely be offering hybrid cars, further solidifying their worldwide perception as the greenest manufacturer.
