I can hear you all say "Yes, give it to me!". That's what I had in mind when I first lay eyes on this excellent concept. With Volkswagen confirming that the Up! is a definite 'GO', and in our previous report on Audi's offensive plans up till year 2012, the cross platform re-engineering of the VW Up! are also within Audi's plans, possibly as a stand alone Electric Vehicle, or one of the 'Green' variants within the future Audi A2 lineup. With the Up! concept unveiled with a 3 door and 5 door extended wheelbase concept, it plays into mind that Audi could also apply the same variations when the A2 was finally launched.Source: TheTruthAboutCars
