Mercedes unveiled the new S600 Pullman Guard, an armored, extended wheelbase Mercedes Benz, continuing a legacy of Mercedes Benz; that for the last 80 years had protected many world leaders, religious leaders, wealthy businessmen, that are at risk of rogue attacks, kidnapping or outright assassination.
With it's ballistic protection standards rated at B6/B7, the S600 Pullman is able to withstand handguns, shotguns, light rifles, small plastic bombs and hand grenades. All the extra weight is then taken cared of by a 5.5 ltr Twin Turbo V12 engine producing 517hp. (We're wondering why not the 6.3 ltr Twin Turbo V12) Besides the S600 Pullman Guard, Mercedes also offers the S600 Guard, E Guard for of course considerably less $, less amenities. But that's not the point, as protection is of course of the same high level (And rear seat space, check out the rather cramp rear seats.)
