GM Officially unveils the production Chevrolet Volt

Finally, GM unveiled the Chevrolet Volt after long waits, scoops and a rather lame preliminary released photos earlier on. The world's first mass production electric vehicle. (Yes, we don't give a fcuk to those G-Wiz stuffs with no practical usage) Plenty was carried over from the concept, thou looking different, all little hints of "The future, today" are present, with futuristic looking headlamps, neon-like fog and rear lamps, and a fabulous interior, all adds up making the Toyota Prius looked like something from 10 years back. A single charge on the Volt could bring about around 70km of range (as per last revealed by GM). Sporting the same sportsback, Prius style profile which Honda claims it's the best aerodynamic shape for a 4/5 seater passenger car (In their defense of why the Insight Hybrid looked exactly like the Prius).

All we could say is Kudos to GM, and hopefully Ford could play catch up, and both big blues could hopefully then return, ironically, from the blues plaguing them.
