2008 Paris Motor Show: Lamborghini Urus 4 door coupe

No secret could withstand the power of the internet, or Google for that matter. The mystery Lamborghini earlier speculated to be anything from a revival of the LM002, to the Lamborghini Murcielago Superveloce, and to InsideLine's exclusive leak of a 4 door super coupe is now confirmed, and it will be dubbed the Lamborghini Urus, with Automotive News stating their insiders had confirmed it to be the new battle ground for supercar makers - 4 door coupes. As we all know Lamborghini car model's names were all inspired by Bulls, the name Urus, came from a species of Bull that was declared extinct in year 1627. To further confirm the name used, a trademark search from the Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market reveals the the name Urus is now trademarked by Lamborghini, and a quick search on Whois.net reveals that the domain Lamborghini-urus.com is now registered by Automobili Lamborghini SpA - Further confirming the name of the mystery Urus, Lamborghini Urus to be exact. According to sources, the Urus will be powered by an engine smaller than that of the Gallardo's V10, and could possibly be powered by an Audi sourced V8, which was even speculated to be turbocharged as well. (RS6 580hp V10? Or a tuned 700hp?) Excited? You damn sure everyone is! As its also said that the one shown in Paris will be an almost production ready prototype!! (The below left picture is not identical to the one on top, the latter is the one where Lamborghini erased the tyre dimensions where we previously revealed it indicates a front engine layout.)
