With Land Rover and Jaguar sold to Tata, Hummer's possibility of finding home in U.A.E, hear comes Chrysler's fair share of parting with their best, leaving themselves with the rest. The Viper, has been synonym with America's consumerism attitude towards cars, sporting 8 ltr V10 engines, massive torque, smoke it is the true epitome of American muscle cars. In a statement made today, Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli said upon being approached by interested parties on the possible sale of Viper, plucking out Dodge's most powerful marketing tool (and performance), Chrysler is now willing to listen and proceed with further talks, in a move that it says "To evaluate strategic options to maximize core operations and leverage assets." Bob added that even thou Viper is an integral part of Chrysler's heritage, they will keep in mind the best interest of those who have shown tremendous support for the Viper, including employees, suppliers, dealers and the tremendous fans worldwide. Whichever way Viper goes, we do hope the snake could end up in a better burrow, just don't end up being a Lada Viper, or a Dacia - you get what I mean.
