Local Motors claims that unlike large scale manufacturing plants requiring everything to be transported, collated and produced, and then transported back to reach out to consumers, they are able to create small scale manufacturing in various places, using local resources supplying to local demands. Nonetheless, confidence to Local Motors is further strengthened by the enormous sum of $10,000 awarded to the Kim who won the competition for LM's Rally Fighter Crossover, with 2 hand drawn drafts. Hmm ... why does it smells like a PR stunt to attract investors?

it looked cool but this is definitely a BMW, if LM's gonna build it, they would definitely have to do away with plenty of those BMW themes that would otherwise need another concept drawn.
