Lexus tops US JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study for the 14th year in a row

JD Power and Associates' new US Study was out, and Lexus again (predictably) stays firmly at the very top.

This study goes by measuring problems per vehicle for 3 years upon arriving at a customer's hands; Lexus ranks highest with 120 problems per 100 vehicle, meaning per 100 vehicles driven over a length of 3 years, only an average of 1.2 problems surfaced on each.

However we have always been doubtful whether its correct to dub the survey 'Vehicle Dependability' as the statistics are allocated based on owner's complaints, hence if a owner kept quiet, then the stats doesn't take in, even if one of the wheels wobbles at 150km/h and the owner thought that he rarely goes that fast hence it wasn't an issue for that particular owner. We'd call it 'Vehicle Owner Satisfaction Study' thou. - Just so that Alfa Romeo would've rank much higher (if they're sold in US) due Alfistis are the most forgiving in the planet.
