European Union lays foundation for vehicle communications

European Union had taken a major step in laying common groundwork for future vehicle to vehicle communications.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the mass mobilization of human beings in 'metal horses' had not only brought vast developments, but a problem that had plague society since.

The human body, just wasn't made to be able to withstands impact from velocities higher than the speeds we could run. With even the slowest cars being able to go twice faster than our body's threshold, solving traffic accidents that happens in tens of thousands everyday, costing the loss of lives and millions of dollars every year - Is a definite top priority, to put into contrast, not a single modern pandemic, war or natural disaster could compare to the losses incurred in traffic accidents every year, the manpower, financial institutions, waste of resources, maintenance, tangible and intangible costs incurred are just outright heavenly.

However, there is hope, as we've learnt, after 100 years that humans are just too dumb to drive in speeds faster than what were made for to travel at; but that's not the case with computers, with recent advancements, decade old concepts of self driving, or at least guidance of computers on driving are at least coming of age now.

Having reserved a European Union wide band for the use of vehicle communications, signified standards can be finalized, common grounds amongst each's own R&D will eventually mean research can be done quicker, cheaper and thus hoping the day when vehicles, with their array of all conquering electronics, sensors and sat navs, cars could effectively communicate amongst, to keep each out of trouble, protecting the occupants.
