Bugatti Targa unveiled! - Bugatti Veyron 16:4 Grand Sport

Bugatti surprised everyone by unveiling the Bugatti Veyron 16:4 Gran Sport today, the targa version of the hypercar.

As commonly claimed and commonly proved otherwise by many manufacturers, Bugatti claims that the Grand Sport is a roadster with a removable roof. Applying 'Innovative Structural Solutions' to compensate for the lack of structural integrity normally associated with cabriolets, with which the lack of a roof resulted in a chassis that's not as solid as their hardtop siblings.

The car will make it's public debut by 16th of August in the Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance. Production will start 2009.

We're not entirely sure if there are any updates to the fascia, however from one glance, the front lamp cluster seems to incorporate a different design.

Only 80 of these will be built and each will cost a cool $2.25 Million.
