Audi A3 Cabriolet - Now offered with Self Parking Assist!

"Hair dressers car"

Without second doubts, everyone who stumble across this term would immediately imagine a short, rounded, perhaps futuristic looking, feminine sportscar - And definitely it should be without the roof, to reduce the structure rigidity, so as to not be too masculine, for beach side drives. Hit the jump to read more and check out an Audi Ad that suggest you not to take this option

As if knowing their target customer's portfolio all too well, Audi had revealed that the new A3 cabriolet will now be available with Audi's "Advance Parallel Park Assist System" knowing all too well ladies will never enjoy the sense of enthusiasm for being able to side park their cars - regardless of size, the new system will enable the car to automatically park itself once initiated.

Of course to compliment such target customers, the first thing the system would do is to determine whether the 'intended spot' is sufficient to park as not to waste their 'electromicroscopic milliseconds'. Once determined 'ok', the driver only need to shift into 'Reverse' lightly tap on the accelerator and the system would immediately take over the steering, brakes and accelerator for the automatic parking (Hopefully the system won't engage into 'D' first at this point - to add further humiliation to the owner)

However it's not as if the car would be immediately under possess, the driver could still take over the steering, brakes and pedal at any point of time for safety purposes.

Our verdict? Audi A8/Lexus LS/BMW 7 Series/Merc S-Class? Yes, Audi A3? No thanks.
