The new Mercedes E-Class, slated for debut in 2010 had been spied numerous times, with cameos, fake center console mounted gear lever (the gear lever was moved to the steering column), it's now spied with the interior looking pretty much production ready. Unlike most new models from BMW or Audi, the E-Class was developed with the wagon alongside, with a possibility of launching both simultaneously.
Based on spy photos, the new E-Class is pretty convincingly good looking, with it's splitted front lamps and the overall new edgy design language of Mercedes, giving a more powerful, aggressive stance to the ex-class leader. (the current 5 series toppled Mercedes' reign for years)
