Volkswagen announced new plant in USA

The scene in America's automotive industry is truly, full of irony. The big three are experiencing history low sales, colossal losses and shrinking market share, whereas Toyota is trying its best to attract labors from Brazil to ram up production.

Volkswagen, having overtook Ford as the world's 3rd largest auto manufacturer had announced it's decisions to build it's first plant in USA, picking Chattanooga at Tennessee, the plant will provide 2,000 job opportunities for the city and $1 Billion in investment to the local economy.

The plant is expected to produce 150,000 cars annually and will also introduce a mid-size sedan in US, mid size by American terms are anyone's guess, Passat being a large family car in Europe, is a small sedan in US, mid size being - 5 Series rival?
