Toyota Aygo
This car is nothing new, it's introduced in Europe in 2007; what's interesting, and what keeps us from blogging it (ok, we admit that we thought of re-introducing it because of the Aygo Crazy Concept, and surely because Toyota hadn't decided to introduce it into Asia - Where cheap cars are what make up the numbers).
The Aygo (Meaning "I go"), was built to be cheap, one gas strut bar to hold up the rear hatch, a glass panel instead of a metal and glass panel used for the rear hatch, and the doors are shaped and painted to omit the use of a full plastic door panel. As quoted from Richard Hammond in Top Gear's review, "Some cars are designed and then made cheaply, the Aygo is designed to be cheap."
Affordable doesn't mean it isn't appreciated, the Aygo was fun to drive, it handles like a cart, with a 3 cylinder 1 liter engine, well built and solid. Imagine a Perodua Kancil built as solid as a Toyota, and more power and better handling, you'd get the picture of what is it like to drive one of these road going Go-Karts.
Toyota also shared this platform out to PSA, Peugeot Citroen Group, creating the Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1.
With Toyota owning Daihatsu wholly, and Daihatsu holding a 51% share in Perodua, we would really hope Toyota could introduce the Aygo in Asia. Hopefully.

Not another 'ugly' model from Toyota.
Prone to rollovers!
Many owners complain that airbags of the 107, C1 and Aygo sometimes inflate when a collision is not present, but the driver presses the brake pedal in order to stop the car suddenly. Others complained that their airbags didn't inflate when needed, so they were injured as a result.
The 107, C1 and Aygo are prone to rollovers due to their proverbial stability problems. According to one survey, 75% of Peugeot 107, Citroën C1 or Toyota Aygo owners have experienced problems with stability and/or steering resulting in temporary lack of control.
