Renault, thou famous for their cheeky designs, excellent MPVs and small, practical hatchbacks; happens to also be one of the manufacturers who're really good in producing small, fun, fast cars.
With the initial Renault Clio Sport V6, spun off from a regular Clio, the car was stripped bare naked, engine placed at where the rear seats used to be, the car was a real track monster.
Now, with the Megane R26, which is also an excellent hatchback that could easily rival the Civic Type-R, Renault went a step further (by adding a .R apparently) by stripping the car clean, change whatever they could to carbon fiber stuffs and produce this FWD beast.
Renault has decided to charge their exclusive 450 customers extra by REMOVING these:
- Rear Seats (Only seats 2 now)
- 3 Pointed Seatbelts
- Side Airbags (How much it weighs anyway?)
- Fog Lamp (How much it weighs anyway?)
- Rear Wiper (How much it weighs anyway?)
- Climate Control (How much it weighs anyway?)
- All sound proofing, winter proofing materials (How much it weighs anyway?)
- Carbon Fiber Hood
- Carbon Fiber Seats
- Roll Cage
- Lots of leather
