Outrageous tinting rules in Malaysia revised

Malaysia a country located on the equator, with annual constant temperatures that hovers around 30 degree Celsius all year round, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 35 C used to have outrageous laws governing windows tinting.

Yesterday the Road Transport Minister of Malaysia Dato Ong Kee Teat had mentioned that the Ministry will now put on hold the 'crackdown' on windows tinting (Crackdown, well Wheels Weekly suppose they're using M16 machine guns and Gunships to stop your tinted cars); to revised on the law, given that Malaysia's climate, and the usage of cars being so abundant that they might want to reconsider the law.

With the expense of global warming, we believed that the public in Malaysia had been opposing this law when temperatures in Malaysia was still hovering around 27 degree Celcius; fast response - Mr Government.

Nonetheless, it is a welcoming sight for Ministers and Governments around the world who've gotten more and more off-hand with real-world issues.

When was the last time when some Government officials said and done something and the public would go :"Wow! We've never thought of that, what a GREAT idea!" All we could recall are officials claiming and doing stuffs that's unrealistic and pointless. (note London's congestion charges).

Hooray!

Some idiots just do not use their brains, perhaps they do not have any. Or they are just trying to make more money by having all these unnecessary rules & regulations.

Then again to those who thinks that having our cars tinted is dangerous & blocking the drivers around us, maybe our country should banned 4WD or MPVs coming in. Maybe lorries too.
