Spotted during test, this 997 looked 'weird' and that's the first sign of it being a test mule. With the 997 facelift just announced, this one spotted with roll cage, add-on fenders which suggests the platform had a wider track, suggests a bigger car, that would have (hopefully) bigger engines producing more power.
Luckily this is not how the 998 looks, thou the actual would not be too far off from this, given Porsche's last 50 year track record.
