Lexus LF-A looks set for production - Photos and Video

The era of Japanese sports cars had begun again after almost 20 years. From the day the Skyline GTR 32 terrorized westerners, came the RX-7, the Supra, the NSX, the Fairlady 300ZX, the Nissan Silvia and of course the Skyline GTR 33 and 34. But all had gone quiet since Toyota did not reveal any successor to the Supra, so do Honda with its NSX.

But with the unveiling of the Nissan GTR 35, once again going against common sense and physics, going around tracks faster than cars that not only costs twice as much, but with more horse power and lesser weight, it incidentally triggered Honda and Toyota's pace into developing their own supercars to join in the fun, the romantism of 90's Japanese manga-like street racers.

Lexus showing the LF-A, and the very similar Honda NSX successor, both powered by a 5.0 liter V10 engine placed at the front, driving the rear wheels, with a very standard coupe format of long bonnet and short rear overhang, excitement is what was felt in every vein of petrol heads.

Lexus unveiled the LF-A (again) in the British International Motor Show, with all its glories in detail, and this time a video that showcases the heart of the car, the 5.0 liter V10 that pumps out 500 horse powers. Check it out folks, it looks absolutely stunning.
